Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is making her debut in Tamil. The credit for bringing this beautiful babe goes to choreographer-director Raju Sundaram. Raju is currently directing Ajith in his directorial debut. It is in this film that Katrina would play the female lead. The untitled film is produced by London-based Ayngaran Films International. Katrina has already done two films in South Indian languages. She has acted opposite Telugu star Venkatesh in Malleswari and with Mammootty in Balram vs. Taradas.
The actress was recently in Chennai to meet boyfriend Salman Khan, who is currently shooting for his Pokkiri remake in Binny Mills. Sources say it was here that Raju met her and narrated the story. Impressed by the script, Katrina is said to have given the go ahead, although the official confirmation is yet to come. Many top heroines were already in the race for this film. Foremost among them was Shriya whose name was later dropped. Bong babe Bipasha Basu was also in the running.
