Director Sathyan Anthikkad, more popular for delivering full-time family entertainers with a blend of laughter, realism, and sentiments, is working on his new film based on urbanization. Mohanlal and the director are teaming up for this film after their last hit, Rasthantram. Meera Jasmine, the heroine of Rasthantram, is back again, sharing screen space with the superstar again.
The lyricist-turned-director has made a successful combination with Mohanlal giving some of the biggest box office hits including Sanmansasullavarku Samadhanam, T.P Balagopalan M.A., Gandhinagar IInd Street, Nadodikatu and Kaliyil Alpam Karyam. Sathyan understands the pulse of the Malayalam cine viewers and makes his films with simple narration and lots of humour to keep them entertained.
Mohanlal did not have a hit for quite some time now. We hope, now tht of the most popular hit pairs of Malayalam cinema is back, it brings some fortune for him.
