Suresh Gopi fails to displace Mammootty

The Suresh Gopi starrer, Sound of Boot, had a decent collection at the box office in the opening week. This investigative thriller is Pyramid Saimira's first Malayalam production. Shaji Kailash has directed the film and Rajesh Jayaraman scripted it. So far, the film has received mixed responses. Suresh Gopi plays a cop and the newcomer Honey Rose also features in the cast.

Sound of Boot is Suresh Gopi's first release this year. But Suresh Gopi's film could not displace Mammootty's Raudram from the number one slot at the box office. Renji Pannikkar has directed this film and it has newcomer Manju playing the female lead.
